Tips for Students Aspiring towards a similar position:
My advice would be to give it a shot working in sports. It opens your eyes to so much more, and so many things behind the scenes in the pro sports. Its not easy, every team is different, especially with the Indians we are in a development program where we learn more than make calls. But I would say if you have the drive to work in sales and in sports inside sales will be the place. Its definitely not easy, but when you meet the people who you built relationships with and see their excitement for the team its worth it. I had a great opportunity through the Tiffin University College Ticket Sales program and I encourage any student who is serious about working in sports to get involved.
